Cecil R. Rush, 84, of Shannondale, died at 9:15 p.m. Wednesday in Golden Manor Nursing Home at Ladoga. A native of St. Joseph, Ill., Mr. Rush had resided in Shannondale since 1952. Prior to retiring, he was employed at a brickyard in Crawfordsville. In 1944 he was married at Crawfordsville to Lou Eva Toombs, who survives. He was a member of the Crawfordsville Eagles Lodge and VFW. He was a veteran of WWI and a member of World War I Barracks at Ladoga. Surviving with the wife are a stepdaughter, Mrs. Isabel Rahn of Gibson City, Ill., and one sister, Mrs. Lavon Lane of Crawfordsville. Services will be at Thorntown. – thanks to Kim H for this one
